YourLastHost is pleased to announce an annual scholarship program to help young entrepreneurs who are interested in pursuing an online career by foraging their own paths. As an internet service provider, we are very in tune with the trends of the internet on a macro- scale, but what we miss out on is the micro- scale. This brings our question for the scholarship:

What does online entrepreneurship mean to you?

In other words, how does online entrepreneurship affect your life? What skills would you like to develop? What skills do you already have? Responses should be approximately 500 words in length, but they can be longer or shorter simply depending on circumstances.

A $500 scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis to the student who writes the most compelling essay. The scholarship can be used for any expenses relating to school–from tuition to books to calculators to room and board. Essays will be judged on the criteria of completeness, grammar and style, and personal story. Applicants must be attending a 2-year or 4-year institution, and the deadline for applications ends December 31, 2018 for the 2019 scholarship (which is awarded January 2019). Applicants may come from any major and any accredited institution.
